A source-checked guide to platform registration and role-level eligibility for five countries, with clear distinctions between confirmed roles and unknown availability.
Last checked: 24 September 2026. “Remote” does not mean “open everywhere.” A platform can allow you to create an account yet have no project in your country. Another may block account registration entirely. This guide separates those cases for five countries that bring substantial search traffic to this directory.

What the status labels mean
- Named role: an official job page explicitly lists the country. The role may close or impose additional experience, schedule and assessment requirements.
- Registration appears possible: the country is not on a published platform-level exclusion list. This does not establish that a suitable role or payout route is available.
- Confirm first: the platform describes international recruitment but does not publish enough country-level detail to make a reliable eligibility claim.
- Unsupported: the platform explicitly says residents cannot register or work from that country.

How to check the five featured platforms
Mercor
Check Mercor’s current unsupported-country list before applying. Kenya is on that list; India, the Philippines, the US and Nigeria were not on it when checked. That only answers whether registration appears possible. Mercor’s referral FAQ says roles without an explicit location default to the US, Canada, UK or EU. A Nigeria-based applicant, for example, needs a role that affirmatively includes their location. Browse the Mercor guide and the original listing.
micro1
The micro1 Experts FAQ says it recruits globally and publishes a list of excluded countries. None of the five countries in this guide is on that list as of this check. It also says candidates may apply to open jobs or certify skills for future matching; certification does not guarantee immediate placement. Use the micro1 profile to understand the process, then verify each job’s country, rate and skill requirements.
Turing
Turing is the clearest source for certain country-specific opportunities because individual role pages name eligible locations. Its LLM Agentic Trainer listing names India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Brazil and Mexico, and asks for programming plus JSON or SQL experience, an assessment and Pacific Time overlap. Ethos and Revelo
Ethos’s expert terms do not promise support for every payment jurisdiction; eligibility depends on its payment and project checks. Revelo’s talent page advertises cross-border remote work, but it does not provide a reliable list of supported countries for each AI project. We therefore mark both as confirm first in all five countries. Their Ethos and Revelo guides explain the work and screening, but the platform must confirm your particular opportunity.
Before you submit an application
- Open the original role and confirm it is still accepting applicants.
- Find your country in the role text or the platform’s current eligibility policy. If it is absent, ask the platform rather than assuming “remote” includes you.
- Check the required experience, time-zone overlap, weekly commitment and whether you have to take an unpaid assessment.
- Confirm the advertised applicant rate, payment currency and payment method for your country before accepting a contract.
