How to choose data annotation work
Data annotation means adding labels or judgments to data used to build AI. A task might ask you to mark objects in an image, transcribe speech, classify a sentence or compare two chatbot answers. Specialist AI training can involve checking a legal explanation, testing generated code or writing a scientific problem with a worked solution.
General tasks and language work
Start with the task and assessment requirements. Generalist work can emphasize careful reading, reasoning, writing or following labeling instructions. Language projects may require fluency in a specific language; generalist does not mean automatic acceptance.
Use your existing expertise to choose a role. Coding, finance, medicine, law and research projects can require credentials, work samples or a subject assessment. Prior AI employment is not always required, but the underlying expertise still matters.
